Dr Simone Bamford
Dr Simone Bamford has been working in the highly specialised field of medical aesthetics for 15 years. Simone graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours in 1997 and quickly established herself as a trusted and proficient general practitioner. But she was always searching for more - a way to make positive, tangible changes in her patients’ lives, and at the same time improve her work-life balance.
In 2007, Simone consolidated her clinical experience in cosmetic medicine, opening an innovative private practice specialising in bespoke anti-ageing treatments. Simone loves the impact that her work has on her clients; how small improvements can make a big difference in boosting their confidence and self-esteem. As a mother of three young girls, she knows only too well how the day to day challenges of life can manifest in our appearance, and how a little expert help can stimulate a positive transformation, both inside and out.
Simone is also passionate about her ongoing exposure to worldwide specialists and attends industry conferences each year to keep abreast of the latest innovations and technologies in the fast moving world of medical aesthetics. This drive to offer the gold standard in safety and outcomes is what makes bma a unique solution for cosmetic medicine.

Bringing with her a long career history in business consulting and operations, running customer service and technology divisions across a multitude of industries and businesses, Tova runs the ‘engine room’ of bma, along with sales and marketing strategy and our online presence. With her passion for excellence in customer experience, you may also find her at the end of the phone, taking bookings and answering questions, as it’s our patients who she truly believes should drive our standard of service. Catherine comes to us with a wealth of experience in cosmeceutical skin care and medi-aesthetics. With her calm manner and a long history of excellence in high volume customer service, a past manager once told her that her phone manner “could probably diffuse an international hostage situation”!
Catherine fell in love with the world of beauty at a very young age and by the time she turned 20, had started her own beauty salon. Fast forward to today, with her experience in running her own business and as a skin technician conversant with many treatments and services, Catherine is an integral part of our team.
Working hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, she is the ‘face’ of bma for all your appointment bookings and questions.
